[Message from Fred, our contact delivering the food parcels...]
Part of our food appeal money went to widows, grandmothers and single mothers in four of the major towns of Mityana diocese. 82 homes were selected and these people did not have to have any religious affiliation but were just in need.
The gratitude is humbling. They had a wonderful day in Mityana town and Rev. Meshach the Busimbi Archdeacon was so helpful in being with us as we visited from home to home.
The exercise has generally been good and people are so happy for this help. Thanks to everyone for having thought about this at such a time.
