Plans for a new clinic at Buguluma
Posted: October 29, 2021 | Uncategorized

Following the success of the maternity clinic at Butoloogo, we have taken the decision to build another clinic at Buguluma. Our local colleague Fred provides a report on the latest community meeting to discuss, outlining positive progress.
“We had a very successful meeting yesterday (18 October). And many thanks to Rev. Moses, Rev. Stephen , Rev. Credison and the clinic building committee who made all this happen. In attendance there were community leaders at village level, church leaders from different denominations and sub county leaders.
The days activities included:
- Plan presentation to community
- Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) presentation and seeking ideas from the community for inclusion into it.
- Reading a letter from Rev. Can. Dodie to the community.
- Speeches from key local leaders like the sub county chairperson, Sub county women district representative, etc.
- Site visit.
Community contributions
- The community is committed to being part of this project and so far the live fence has been fully planted around the clinic allocated land.
- Also a few local building material like plaster sand has been delivered at the site and more will continue to come in before and after the building has commenced.
I bring you many thanks from the community and everyone is excited and looking forward to meeting you one day.”
The pictures below show some of the day’s activities as outlined by Fred.
