Butoloogo Clinic fund raider update

As noted in our September post, local software services company Elysian IT dedicated a company day to help raise funds for additional maternity equipment at the clinic at Butoloogo.

We are pleased to announce that the fund raising day raised £1,714 plus gift aid, so was a great success as the original target was £1,000 for the equipment.  The staff at Elysian enjoyed a great day, allowing them to get together for the first time in 18 months and meet in person with two new members of staff for the first time.

The extra money raised, plus the gift aid, will also allow us to build two clinical waste disposal facilities, one for sharps and one for clinical waste as well as purchase the equipment needed to improve the maternity facility.
