Update from our marathon runner
Posted: March 25, 2015 | Uncategorized
Seb will be running the London Marathon for Mityana Projects Trust in 31 days. Here is an update from him:
“With just six weeks to go, training is starting to peak at around 40 miles per week now. The winter weather has finally taken its toll, with flu necessitating a week off, but I (barely) recovered in time to complete the Silverstone Half Marathon on Sunday (alongside the David Wier, Iwan Thomas and seven thousand others). Business trips mean that I’ll be doing a 20 mile run in Belfast this weekend and training in Madrid and Mexico City the following week. The stunningly generous donations I’m receiving along the way are really helping to keep me motivated, knowing what a difference the money raised will make to so many lives.”
You can sponsor Seb at his Virgin Money Giving page.
To date Seb has raised the brilliant sum of £2,501, in addition to £1,181 he has received in offline donations from generous people he has met with in the last several weeks. Go Seb!
