Visit from Mityana Primary School teachers

Following a visit in February 2015 of a number of  Whitchurch Deanery teachers to Mityana (with British Council funding), a reciprocal trip took place in May with primary school teachers returning to visit Whitchurch.

The February trip involved a teacher from each primary school in the deanery visiting their link school in Mityana. A meeting took place at Lulagala to enable staff from all the schools to share good practice. The trip aimed to ensure sustainability, improve the quality of teaching and learning and improve staff performance management.

On the return visit, Pat and Steve Bassett again kindly loaned their barn for a barn dance with visitors, teachers and friends, where a great time wasa had by all.
