Kyakadali water reservoir update
Posted: June 14, 2020 | Uncategorized

Kyakadali is a small community of about 150 households. It is in a very dry place south west of Mityana town and about 2½ hours drive. It has a strong community feel; the people were very pleased to know that they were getting water so they would not have to walk so far, especially in the dry season. There has been a small water commitment set up and each household has to provide 100 Ugandan shillings (about 25p) for pump and fence maintenance.
It is almost impossible to describe the joy of having water all year round. This is the third water dam we have been able to give to people.
